Blackfeather need little introduction, with the original line up, with founder John Robinson, producing a landmark progressive rock album (At The Mountain of Madness).
BLACKFEATHER
Seasons of Change is one of the best known songs in Australian Rock History. Released in 1971 it became a globally recognized classic, and was penned by John Robinson.
In 2009 John re-titled it "Seasons of Pain" (with a subtitle "An Ode To Injustice") and created a video for Schapelle. In August 2010 he dedicated this world famous song to Schapelle. An amazing gesture.
SEASONS OF PAIN
LYRICS: SEASONS OF PAIN
See the snow falling on the ground
days of old , oh so cold
Wretched sailing amongst the cloud
melts the snow still I'm cold
People dancing in the streets
in the town a small boy crys
eyes of love turn to nerves of stone
blind the sun , not for me
a Season goes so quickly
you don't know where you are
a Season goes so quickly
you don't know where you are
I said i'm sorry
don't you know I try
everybody stops me
and it makes me cry
see the snow falling on the ground
days of old , cold so cold
Wretched sailing amongst the cloud
melts the snow still I'm cold
People dancing in the streets
in the town a small boy crys
eyes of love turn to nerves of stone
blind the sun , not for me
a Season goes so quickly
you don't know where you are
a Season goes so quickly
you don't know where you are
I said i'm sorry
don't you know I try
everybody stops me
and it makes me cry
